Bright King Educational Trust values the trust and generosity of its donors. This Refund and Cancellation Policy outlines the circumstances under which donations made to the Trust may be refunded or cancelled.

By making a donation through our website or other digital platforms, you acknowledge and agree to the terms described in this policy.

1. Nature of Donations

All donations made to Bright King Educational Trust are voluntary contributions intended to support the Trust’s charitable activities, including educational, social, and community development programs.

Donations are generally treated as non-refundable, except under specific circumstances outlined below.

2. Cancellation of Donation

Once a donation is successfully processed, it cannot ordinarily be cancelled. Donors are advised to carefully review the donation amount and details before completing the transaction.

3. Refund Eligibility

Refunds may be considered only in the following exceptional situations:

Duplicate donation due to technical error.
Donation made with incorrect amount due to system malfunction.
Donation made to the Trust unintentionally.
Transaction failure where the amount was debited but receipt was not generated.

4. Refund Request Process

To request a refund, donors must submit a written request within 7 days of the donation date, including:

Full name of the donor
Donation amount
Transaction reference number
Date of donation
Reason for requesting refund

5. Processing of Refunds

Upon verification and approval, eligible refunds will be processed within 7–14 working days. Refunds will be credited back to the original payment method used during the transaction.

Please note that any payment gateway or bank processing charges incurred during the transaction may be deducted from the refunded amount.

6. Tax Implications

If a donation receipt has already been issued and a tax benefit has been claimed, the donor may be required to return or cancel the receipt in case of a refund. Bright King Educational Trust shall not be responsible for any tax consequences arising from refunded donations.

7. Non-Refundable Cases

Refunds will not be provided in the following situations:

Change of mind after making a donation.
Donations used or allocated for ongoing programs.
Requests made after the refund request period.

8. Donation Disputes

Any disputes related to donations will be addressed in good faith. The Trust reserves the right to take a final decision regarding refunds after careful evaluation of the request and supporting documents.

9. Changes to Policy

Bright King Educational Trust reserves the right to amend this Refund and Cancellation Policy at any time without prior notice. Changes will be effective immediately upon publication on this page.
